Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Assault

A Hopkinsville woman who allegedly possessed a knife was arrested in front of the sheriff’s office Friday afternoon and charged with assault.

Hopkinsville Police report officers received a call at 2pm that the Christian County Sheriff’s Office needed assistance with a female with a knife. Upon arrival, police say they observed 35-year old Natalie Robinson laid back in the front passenger seat of a vehicle. Police asked her to show her hands and she was detained for further investigation.

Officers reportedly located the knife in the suspect’s purse. Police say after speaking with Robinson and the male victim, they determined an assault had taken place. The victim had several scratches on his face, ears and back, but refused medical treatment. Police say the male victim stated that Robinson had hit him with open and closed fists several times.

Robinson was taken into custody and booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 4th Degree Assault Dating Violence (Minor Injury).
