Hopkinsville Man Charged With Meth Possession

An attempt to locate call for an individual with warrants led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man for possessing meth. Hopkinsville Police say they received the call shortly after 12:30 Friday afternoon and were dispatched to a home on Robin Road. Upon entry, police report they made contact with several individuals including 42-year old Edward Schneider II. After getting consent for a search, officers reportedly found a bag of meth in Schneider's pocket along with a zippered pouch in another pocket that contained a pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine.

Schneider was taken into custody and booked into the Christian County Jail charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
