Hopkinsville HIgh School Dedicates Thornton Blockhouse



Tiger players past and present, school officials, and fans of the Hopkinsville Tiger program turned out Friday afternoon for the official dedication ceremony of the Coach Fleming Thornton Blockhouse. The afternoon began with comments from current Tiger head coach Marc Adam Clark:
      


Featured speakers for the ceremony included three Tigers who played for Coach Thornton, among those was Pete Moore:



Ronnie Catlett told those in attendance about the effect that Thornton had on his life:



Others that spoke during the ceremony included Richard Graham, former Hopkinsville coach Dan Sundberg, and former principal Harold Wood.  State Representative John Tilley made the presentation of a copy of a resolution that will be read in the Kentucky General Assembly in Thornton’s honor.
