Hopkins County Resident Injured In Sunday Crash



A Hopkins County resident was seriously injured Sunday night in a single vehicle accident on Hicklin Road. According to information from the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department, 32-year old Jaime Lile, of Madisonville, was westbound on Hicklin Road, when the vehicle exited the north side of the roadway, struck a telephone pole, and a ditch culvert.

Lile’s vehicle overturned and came to final rest in a field. Lile was transported to Baptist Health Emergency Room and then transported by PHI Air Medical to St. Mary’s Hospital, in Evansville. As of Monday morning, Lile was listed in critical condition. The accident occurred around 8:13pm Sunday.
