Alabama, has announced their Back To The Bowery Tour to celebrate their 40th anniversary - could it have been that long ago???
The Bowery in Myrtle Beach, SC was the site of the band's first concert performance in 1973, and they'll return April 6 to kick off the tour. The band will also set sail for Alabama & Friends At Sea, a four-day cruise beginning Oct. 24.

You could have heard a pin drop when country artist, Chris Young appeared on Katie Couric's Katie Goes Country show and announced he married his sister. After an awkward pause, Young added that he had gotten a license to perform marriages. Katie said, "I thought it was a whole different situation!"
Country Snipits: Zac Brown Band has announced they will release up to 3 albums this year including one acoustic album..........The Mavericks have reunited (much to the surprise of most of the band members) and will release their first new album in years on Feb. 26—fittingly titled In Time........Brantley Gilbert and Chris Young will make a guest appearance on ABC's Nashville on February 27..........other country stars scheduled to make appearances include Kip Moore, Vince Gill and Pam Tillis.
