Greatest Chance For Severe Weather Saturday Evening

A slight chance for a tornado could exist Saturday in western Kentucky as warm air from the south arrives. National Weather Service in Paducah, Lead Forecaster, David Humphries says the front will arrive overnight and then severe weather is a possibility.

That severe weather includes flash flooding, high winds, and tornadoes.

Humphries says flooding will continue and expand with the additional rain.

Weather Service Hydrologist Mary Lamb adds the high waters will not fall rapidly.

Most of western Kentucky is being included in an enhanced risk level for severe weather Saturday, including the flooding. The Weather Edge will continue to keep you updated on any flooding or severe weather.
