Fort Campbell Falcons Get New Head Coach

The Fort Campbell High School Falcons are excited for the season ahead after Athletic Director Patricia Keenan announced the new head football coach. Keenan confirmed the new choice to the News Edge.

She says Butler stood out for two reasons.

The AD says the football program has come a long way in recent years and Butler had the opportunity to be apart of that.

Butler was excited by the choice, but the football players may have been even more happy.

Keenan says the fall football season will be a little bitter sweet, but everyone is looking forward to it.

Former Head Coach Shawn Berner announced January 25 that he was stepping down from the position after a 112-31 record over 11 seasons. Anthony Butler will be only the fifth head coach in the 51-year history of the Falcon football program.
