Fire Extensively Damages Linton Road Home

Firefighters from three Trigg County volunteer fire departments were called out Friday morning to the report of a house fire on Linton Road. The call came in around 10:50am for the East Golden Pond, Linton, and Montgomery Fire Departments to respond to the 13000 block of Linton Road. The News Edge spoke to East Golden Pond Fire Chief Ronnie Gray on the scene.

The home belonged to Keith Greenfield who's father Glenn was on the scene and says they were lucky no one was home at the time of the fire but the family did lose thier three dogs in the fire. Gray says he is calling the state fire marshall's office to look into what started the fire.

A neighbor reportedly saw the flames coming from the residence and reported the fire.
