All Aboard!!!! The Pennyrile Polar Express is rolling into town for its 13th year in downtown Hopkinsville. This free community event provides holiday books, crafts, carriage and train rides, snacks and other activities in historic downtown Hopkinsville. The streets will be closed to allow guests to enjoy the spirit of the season.

5:15 PM - 2017 Hopkinsville Electric Christmas Parade. The theme is "Christmas on the Silver Screen."

The Trigg County Historical and Preservation Museum on Jefferson Street (right behind the TC Justice Center) is Open Saturday 10am - 4pm. If you have a group and would like a special tour call David Shore 270-522-3975. They are currently featuring a display of some of your favorite businesses that were the lifeblood of our community. If you would like to put a display of a business your family owned contact David Shore or Bob Brame.

Food Drive - Helping Hands is working with Kindred at Home and Kindred Hospice. Non-perishable items are requested. Donated items are collected at the end of the month at Helping Hands. Your donations are appreciated.


Tickets for the 2017 Dining with the Dearly Departed are on sale. This year's show will be held at Canton in a tent between the church and the old hotel. Friday is SOLD OUT and there are only a few tickets left for Saturday night and a few for Saturday afternoon. Call 270-522-9056 now to get your tickets. September 15 - 16.
