First District Congressman James Comer is calling on the United States Senate to never let another government shutdown occur. Following the Senate vote Monday to pass the Continuing Resolution, the Congressman made the comments on the steps of the Capitol.
Comer says shutting down the government is not fair for those impacted by it.
Comer joined the majority in the House of Representatives when they approved the continuing resolution.
