Christian County School Board Undergoes Training Workshop
New Christian County School Board members are better equipped for their job and other board members have received a refresher course following a meeting Tuesday night with a KSBA representative. David Baird spoke with board members about what it takes to be a school board member and what their responsibilities are.
He adds one of the major topics for School Board members, and the one people are most vocal about, is taxing.
The one and half hour training session was held to acquaint Teresa Moss and Sarah Shepherd with the job, but also to help remind veteran board members of what the state expects of them.
