Christian County Grand Jury Returns Indictments

The Christian County Grand Jury indicted a man for receiving stolen property and a persistent felony offender Friday.

30-year old Bradley Scott Davis of Hopkinsville was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000, which is a felony. According to an arrest citation, Davis had a four-wheeler which was reported stolen in May. It was valued around $4,000, recovered, but was significantly damaged.

The grand jury also indicted 37-year old Jeremy Murphy of Hopkinsville for first-degree persistent felony offender. According to authorities, Murphy has faced several drug charges since 2011. Additionally, in 2011, Murphy was charged with fleeing or evading police.

Both men are lodged in the Christian County Jail.
