Arrowcats Finish Second At KHSAA Region Meet

Trigg County finished second at the KHSAA Region I Archery Meet Saturday in Madisonville, ending a four year run as region champs. Henderson County won their first region title with 3,424 points – six points more than Trigg County and 17 more than third place Webster County.

Clay Stevens won the region title with a score of 295, while Webster County’s Kolbi Alsobrooks was the top female with a score of 294.  Trigg County’s top female shooter was Macy Mitchell who finished third with a score of 291.

Hopkinsville finished in eighth place.  Their top two male shooters were Nathan Morris who finished ninth and Jeremy Leek who was 30th.  Mary Poe was the top female shooter for Hopkinsville with a score of 289 to finish seventh.  Katie Little shot a 278 to finish 29th.

Both Henderson County and Webster County will advance to the KHSAA State Tournament in April 20 in Lexington.
