Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs Dwight Yoakam, Kenny Chesney, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Bobby Braddock and the late Roger Miller will be honored at the ACM Honors ceremony on September 24th at the Ryman Auditorium. The list of performers for the night are just as impressive as the honorees - Clint Black, Rodney Crowell, Randy Houser, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kellie Pickler and more.
Kenny Rogers' autobiography, Luck or Something Like It, will go on sale October 2nd. He talks about growing up in poverty, the breakup of his band, launching a solo career and his five marriages. Rogers, age 74, has recorded 65 albums, won 3 Grammys, 5 CMA Awards and 8 AMC Awards. He is still touring and will be in Richmond, KY, on December 4th, at the EKU Center for the Arts. The song debuted at #22 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart - his highest solo chart debut ever. McGraw is looking a little older (aren't we all) and leaner (maybe not so much), but he still has a great set of pipes.
