A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after a vehicle fire at Love’s Travel Center on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville firefighters say the vehicle was parked at a gas pump when for an unknown reason the car caught fire.
The man driving the vehicle was reportedly assisted away from the vehicle by others at the scene. Reports from the scene indicate the man fell as he was being helped away from the vehicle.
Firefighters say it’s unknown at this time if his injuries are from being burned or from falling.
