2020 is going to be a busy, fun-filled year for residents in Cadiz and Trigg County.
Judge/Executive Hollis Alexander says he is looking forward to all of the great events planned for the bicentennial for the county.
Alexander notes among those events, will be a special called Trigg County Fiscal Court meeting that will take place outside on Friday, May 15.
One thing the fiscal court will look into is the possibility of having only one meeting a month, instead of two.
Alexander adds a lot of the magistrate work is done outside of the required meetings, which currently take place the first and third Monday nights.
A final decision on the meeting issue is expected to be made soon. The fiscal court meetings are held in the basement of the Trigg County Courthouse Annex building and currently begin at 6:00 PM.
