The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Wind Advisory for counties east of Land Between the Lakes, which is in effect from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday evening.
The affected area will have sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 40 mph, which could impact high profile vehicles traveling east or west. The high winds could also affect any loose objects left outdoors, causing them to be tossed around.
A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds are expected to reach 30 mph or greater for longer than one hour…or wind gusts are expected to reach 40 mph for any duration.
