Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation is preparing for upcoming events geared toward Halloween, Thanksgiving and the Veterans Honor Parade.
Later this month, Parks and Rec Programs Coordinator Pam Rudd says the first event is the Special Needs Halloween Party on Friday, October 25.
The following week on Thursday, October 31st will be the big Downtown Trick or Treat on Main Street.
Rudd says a very special event for the community, the Veterans Honor Parade, will be Saturday morning, November 9th at 10:00.
Then on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, it’s the 18th annual Turkey Trot, which continues to grow.
In addition, Rudd says a Special Needs Christmas Party will be held the evening of December 6th, along with the return of the Skatin’ on the Square from December 12th through 15th and the annual Hopkinsville Electric System Christmas Parade followed by the tree lighting will be December 14th. We’ll have more on those events later this month.
