A Cerulean man was stopped for a seatbelt violation and was found to have meth Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old James Upton was stopped on Fort Campbell Boulevard when police noticed his passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.
During the stop, police reportedly found a container of meth in Upton’s pocket and brass knuckles in the vehicle.
Upton is in violation of a protection order by having brass knuckles.
He is charged with first-degree possession of meth and DUI second offense.
