Churches, Seniors Invited To Trigg Senior Citizen’s Game Day

Churches in Trigg County and seniors from around the area are invited to sponsor and participate in the inaugural Trigg County Senior Citizen’s Game Day on Saturday, June 1st.

Cadiz United Methodist Church is organizing the fundraising event for the Trigg County Senior Citizens Center. Organizer Lanell Bell says over 60 Christian churches in Trigg County of all denominations have been contacted and invited to participate in a fun-filled day of events. She encourages all seniors 60 and over from Trigg and surrounding counties to come out and participate in over 30 non-competitve games, or you can just come out and visit with friends and neighbors and watch the games.

Bell says registration will begin at 9:00 with games starting at 10:00. Along with the games, there will be food and much more to enjoy.
