Another railroad crossing in Hopkinsville will be closed for repairs beginning Tuesday night.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says CSX plans to close US 41/East 9th Street rail crossing between South Clay Street and South Campbell Street to allow rail work and rail crossing upgrades.
East 9th Street is expected to close at 6:00 Tuesday night and will remain closed for about two to three days.
Motorists who regularly travel East 9th Street in downtown Hopkinsville should take an alternate route and allow extra travel time to negotiate the marked detour.
