The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has released the identities of two men apprehended Tuesday afternoon after shots were fired by an officer when the suspects fled in a vehicle in Oak Grove.
Detective Captain Chris Miller identified the driver of the fleeing vehicle as 32-year old Brandon Huff of Clarksville and his passenger, 34-year old Dominic Marino of Oak Grove. Huff and Marino are charged with two counts of 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, Trafficking in Controlled Substance-Meth, Possession of Burglary Tools and other offenses. In addition, Marino was charged with trafficking heroin and served two warrants for Failure to Appear and Probation Violation. Both men are lodged in the Christian County Jail.
Deputies and officers with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force went to the Pilot Gas Station off of I-24 on the Pembroke-Oak Grove Road shortly before 3:30 p.m. to make an arrest on outstanding warrants. Captain Miller says Huff and Marino tried to flee in a vehicle and drove toward a Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force officer, at which time the officer fired his weapon at the oncoming vehicle. Officers pursued the vehicle and were able to apprehend the men in the area of Oak Grove City Hall just south of the gas station.
There were no injuries reported.
Oak Grove Police also assisted in the apprehension of the men.
