If you need a new passport, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is now accepting passport applications.
Outreach Librarian Elysa Parks says Higgins Insurance on Lafayette Road in Hopkinsville is the sponsor of this new initiative that will enable the library to provide this service to the community. Partner Lee Conrad stated in a release they are excited the library has decided to offer this exciting service. He adds Higgins Insurance is also proud to support this important institution and they hope many people in the community see the value in the passport program.
Library staff have been certified in the processing of passports and have already had a great response from the community about this new service.
Library Executive Director DeeAnna Sova says the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library strives to be a resource for information for the community. She adds the ability to provide this service is another opportunity to continue to grow the public library’s ability to serve Christian County. She also thanked Higgins Insurance and their willingness to partner with the library to make this a fantastic program.
Passport applications are currently being completed by appointment. To make an appointment, email promotions@hccpl.org or call (270) 887-4262 and ask for DeeAnna or Elysa.
