Flash Flood Watch Continues Through Monday

Image from NWS Paducah – Forecasters say an additional 0.5 to 2 inches of rain is possible Monday in the watch area. Watch for water ponding on roads and stay alert for possible flash flooding.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says rain will continue to fall across the region Monday, with the Flash Flood Watch continuing until 7:00 PM. This includes Caldwell, Calloway, Christian, Hopkins, Lyon, Marshall, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg counties.

According to NWS meteorologists, most locations could see an additional 1 to 2 inches Monday.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.
