Trigg County magistrates held a public hearing on proposed a tax increase for property tax rates Friday morning. During the September 5th meeting, Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander said the increase comes in one particular area.
A small crowd was on hand, with business owner John Oliver expressing his concern regarding the time the public hearing was held.

The tax rates will be voted on following second reading at the Fiscal Court meeting on Monday evening.
