A 21-year old Princeton woman was killed in a single vehicle wreck in Hopkins County Friday morning. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reports the wreck occurred at the intersection of KY 109 and Huckleberry Road in Charleston shortly before 9:00 a.m.
Deputies say the investigation found that Emma Riley was driving northbound on KY 109 when she lost control of her vehicle in a sharp curve, exited the road and hit a concrete culvert. Riley was pronounced dead at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Charleston Volunteer Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance Service.
