Clarksville Police Searching For Drive-By Robber

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a 24-year old man in the parking lot of a Papa John’s restaurant on Madison Street in Clarksville Thursday morning.

According to Public Information Officer Jim Knoll, the victim was heading into the business around 10:30 a.m., when a man drove up to him in a Mercury Marquis. He pointed a black semiautomatic handgun out of the driver’s window and demanded all of the victim’s money or he would be shot. The victim gave him an undisclosed amount of money, and the robber fled the scene. The vehicle which was reported stolen from Todd County on July 25, was found unoccupied around 11:30 a.m. on Maddox Court.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s, wearing a black hoodie, short hair, and average build and height. Anyone with information can contact the TIPSLINE at (931) 645-8477.
