A Madisonville man is charged with a shooting that left a man hospitalized Saturday night. According to the Madisonville Police report, the shooting occurred around 9:15 Saturday night near 110 Vaughn Drive.
Madisonville Police Detective William Roundtree says when police responded to the shooting call they found Aaron Crawford, who had been shot with a handgun. Crawford was taken to Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Police arrested 26-year-old Jalyn Campbell of South Park Avenue and charged him with 1st degree Assault.
Campbell was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
