The Trigg County Coroner’s Office has released the preliminary autopsy results of a Cadiz man who walked away from a nursing home Tuesday and was found deceased Thursday morning.
Coroner John Mark Vinson tells the News Edge that a preliminary autopsy was performed on 59-year old Terry “Tom” Hooper Friday and shows he died from natural causes.
He notes the preliminary cause of death finding may be modified when laboratory and toxicology findings are returned.
Vinson reports Hooper’s body was found Thursday morning around 8:00 in an open area near the edge of the Better Senior Living facilities’ back property where he was a resident.
