The United Way of the Pennyrile has announced this year’s campaign theme and the 2018 campaign chairmen.
After thinking long and hard about the needs of the community, United Way President Annie Catron tells the News Edge they decided to invest and engage the four counties they serve, which is the idea behind this year’s campaign theme.

Catron adds they also considered who would be the best representation for the United Way campaign, not only to grab attention and bring fun but also to show the importance of serving through the United Way, and they came up with two Christian County men and Hopkinsville Rotarians who are no strangers to the spotlight.

The United Way of the Pennyrile works to meet the needs of residents in Caldwell, Christian, Todd and Trigg counties and helps fund 20 partner agencies. They focus on uniting people and resources to improve the lives and strengthen communities throughout the Pennyrile region.
Catron says they will announce the Dynamic Duos: United Way and You campaign fundraising goal at the kick-off breakfast on September 13th at 7:30 a.m. at the Seniors Citizens Center in Hopkinsville.
