Nine retirees of the Trigg County School District and six GED graduates were recently honored and recognized by the school board and staff members.

A Retirement Reception was held for the retirees, their family, and friends at the Trigg County School gymnasium at 5:30 Thursday afternoon.

Superintendent Travis Hamby thanked them for their service and their impact on so many young lives.

Hamby noted that custodian Jimmy Wayne Crenshaw was retiring after working for more than four decades with the district.

Facilities and Operations Director Matt Ladd expressed his gratitude for Crenshaw’s dedication after working two full-time jobs for the 42 years.
