A Clarksville man died after being pinned under a dump truck Thursday.

Clarksville Police Spokesman, Jim Knoll, says the victim was identified as 58 year old Scott Flitsch. Knoll says it was just before noon Thursday; a dump truck with a trailer attached was parked at the top of a gravel hill on private property on Nolen Rd.

Flitsch, who was the driver of the truck, was standing at the rear when the unoccupied truck started to roll down the hill, struck another truck, a Ford Mustang, and a tractor, and then came to rest. Another man on the property heard yelling and discovered Flitsch with his leg pinned underneath the passenger side rear tires.

Clarksville Fire Rescue and EMS extricated the man and he was taken by Life Flight to Vanderbilt. He died around 2 Thursday afternoon from his injuries.
