Man Charged With Allegedly Pawning Stolen Jewelry

A Clarksville man was served a warrant Tuesday for allegedly pawning stolen jewelry at a Hopkinsville pawn shop.

Hopkinsville Police say 53-year old Chester Campbell was served the warrant shortly after 1:15 Tuesday at the Christian County Jail for Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000 and Theft By Deception Including Cold Checks Under $500.

On March 14, the warrant states Campbell pawned a stolen ring valued over $500 at Glory Guns and Pawn Shop in Hopkinsville for $225. On May 9th, he reportedly pawned a stolen necklace valued over $500 at Cash America Pawn Shop in Hopkinsville for $200. Police say both pieces of jewelry belonged to a female victim who had been seeing Campbell, and other items of jewelry are also missing.
