Two Injured In Saturday Bypass And North Main Street Crash

Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Eagle Way Bypass and North Main Street Saturday afternoon.

At 2:20pm, Hopkinsville Police report 73-year old Phyllis Crunk of Pembroke was headed south on North Main Street and made a left hand turn onto Eagle Way Bypass and hit a car traveling east on the Bypass driven by 49-year old Holly G. Reynolds of Benton.

Police say Reynolds complained of an injured neck along with both wrist and arms possibly strained from the airbag deployment, and her passenger, 40-year old Holly D. Reynolds of Benton, suffered a broken leg. Both women were transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. Crunk was not injured in the crash.
