A Hopkinsville woman and two Hopkins County men are facing criminal mischief charges after police responded to a possible burglary call at a residence in Madisonville over the weekend.

Madisonville Police report officers responded to a home in the 200 block of Park Avenue shortly before 10:30 Saturday morning in reference to several subjects possibly burglarizing the residence. Upon arrival, police reportedly found 21-year old Rachel Meece of Hopkinsville and 33-year old Ryan Bryant of Madisonville illegally inside the home. During a search of the residence, police say 31-year old Thomas Smith of Earlington was found hiding underneath a bed in a back bedroom. Officers indicate Smith also had two warrants for his arrest from Muhlenberg and Hopkins counties.

The tenant of the residence advised officers that no one was suppose to be at the home and no one had a key.

All three subjects were arrested and booked into the Hopkins County Jail charged with 1st Degree Criminal Trespass. Meece was also charged with Possession of Marijuana.
