A Clarksville motorcyclist is facing numerous charges after a short pursuit involving state police in Oak Grove Friday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, a trooper observed a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Fort Campbell Boulevard Friday night shortly after 10:40. As the trooper approached and initiated his emergency equipment for a traffic stop, the motorcyclist, later identified as 23-year old Jason Johnson turned onto State Route 911 and accelerated.
