CCHS Student Wins Poster Contest

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin recognized nine of the state’s most talented young artists when he announced the 2018 Public Service Recognition Week poster contest winners Monday.

At a ceremony at the Governor’s Manson in Frankfort, Bevin and Personnel Cabinet Secretary Thomas Stephens praised the talent and creativity of the winners. According to Bevin, more than 1,300 students participated in the contest with 86 schools represented.

Jenna Humphries, a student at Christian County High School, won first place in the 14-18 year old group.

The contest is a part of Public Service Recognition Week in Kentucky that is being held through April 28th.
