Crofton Woman Charged With Meth Possession

State police say a Crofton woman is facing meth possession charges after a traffic stop Friday night near the Grapevine community in Hopkins County.

State police released the report Monday afternoon that when a trooper made contact with the driver, 47-year old Christina Hopper, he observed open alcohol beverage containers in the vehicle. During a search, the trooper reportedly found suspected methamphetamine.

Hopper was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center charged with Rear License Not Illuminated, Possession of Open Alcohol Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle Prohibited, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
