Hopkinsville Rotary Auction Needs Extra Push On Final Night

The 68th annual Hopkinsville Rotary Auction is heading into its final night needing an extra push in order to reach its goal. After five nights, the Hopkinsville Rotary Auction has raised more than $225,000, nearly $650 behind last year’s total after five nights. This year’s goal is $320,000.

As of last night, Auction Chair Kiley Killebrew reports auctioneers have sold 524 items raising more than $60,000. The General Store and mini-auction have raised $1,458, the Diner and Sweet Shop has raised $20,200 and the Hour and Goat Club have brought in $143,209.

The auction continues Saturday night at 6:00, with the Diner and Sweet Shop opening at 5:00.
