West Cadiz Park will be filled with the sounds of Bluegrass music. The Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism Commission is sponsoring the first Bluegrass in the Park event Saturday, April 21st.
Lakeland Jamboree owner Ray Wyatt, who is helping to organize the event, says this idea has been in the works for several years.

Wyatt says all six groups performing Saturday will have their time on the stage before a break to allow jam sessions.

In addition to music, Wyatt says there will be several vendors set up at the park.

The music kicks off Saturday morning at 10:00 and continues until the evening at West Cadiz Park.
