The Single Mommies Matter Ministry will host a luncheon for single mothers Saturday at the Murray State University campus in Hopkinsville, but seating is limited and you need to R.S.V.P. as soon as possible.
Sha Jackson, who started the Single Mommies Matter ministry, shared her background with the News Edge earlier this week.

She also became involved in jail ministries and then started her own ministry.

She adds the Single Mommies Matter Ministry began when her spirit told her to buy a gift for a co-worker.

Jackson says the luncheon has continued to grow each year, and last year they became incorporated.She adds they are excited to show support for young mothers and help them hold their heads high.

For the luncheon at the MSU campus in Hopkinsville Saturday, Jackson says registration begins at 11:30am and seating is limited. She notes the event is for women 38 years of age and under, and will be from Noon until 3:00pm. If you plan to attend, she would like you to call her in advance to register.
