After he inquired about it last year, Judge White says two representatives with the Department of Transportation were sent from Washington D.C. and he and LBL Forest Service officials met them in Frankfort at the state transportation office to discuss the issue. Basically, he says he was trying to get them to give an update of their ideas regarding what they have for changes and making sure money was available. However, he says they did not have a good update and he is waiting to hear back.Another issued he addressed while in Washington D.C., was renewing the Freedom to Fish Act, which is attached to another bill that is coming up for another vote.
