Christian County Grand Jury Returns Eight Indictments

Eight people were indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday on charges ranging from kidnapping and assault to meth possession and bail jumping. Among the indictments, Tiffany Michelle Brooks was indicted on two counts of Kidnapping that occurred on January 30 in Christian County.

Michael Logan Wolff was indicted for 2nd Degree Assault and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon. The charges stem from an incident on December 21, 2017 when the indictment says he intentionally or wantonly engaged in conduct which created a grave risk of death to a female and caused injury by using a deadly weapon.

Megan Marie Thompson was indicted for Tampering with a Prisoner Monitoring Device on May 20, 2017, and in a separate case Shawn Dale Gilkey was also indicted for Tampering with a Prisoner Monitoring Device on January 25.

The grand jury indicted Mark Wayne Corby on charges stemming form January 11th for Tampering with Physical Evidence, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), and Resisting Arrest.

Triwanna Deon Kendrick was indicted for 3rd Degree Burglary and Giving Officer False Identifying Information. The indictment says Kendrick unlawfully entered or remained in a building owned by Walmart on December 14, 2017 with the intent to commit a crime, and then gave officers a false name in an attempt to conceal her identity.

James Earl Thomas was indicted for Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500 – Auto for allegedly stealing a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo belonging to Vanessa Gibson on or between November 21 and November 22, 2017.

The grand jury also indicted Ricky Lynn Williams for 1st Degree Bail Jumping. The indictment says Williams failed to appear for a pretrial conference in Christian Circuit Court on February 23, 2015.
