Officials at Land Between the Lakes say a bridge that provides access to campgrounds northwest of Dover has temporarily been closed due to damage. Officials report Fort Henry Road is now closed approximately three-tenths of a mile west of Woodlands Trace Scenic Byway. They note Piney Campground is seasonally closed but visitors can use U.S. Highway 79 as an alternate route around the hazard.
LBL officials indicate they are working with the Tennessee Department of Transportation crews to inspect and access the damage.
