Rain moved through the area early Monday, and with warmer temperatures, the snow quickly disappeared. The rain fall totals from the Kentucky Mesonet site show Trigg County with .33 inches, Christian County getting .31 inches, Todd County with .36 and just over half an inch of rain in Caldwell County. Weather Edge Forecaster, David Powell, says seasonal temperatures will follow the rain during the first part of the week.
Powell says toward the end of the week we will see some more warm temperatures followed by more stormy weather.
Powell says winter is not over. He is looking at another winter storm that could make it’s mark by the middle of February.
