A two vehicle wreck on Pembroke Road at Edwards Mill Road Saturday morning injured a Pembroke woman. The Christian County Sheriff's Office says the wreck occurred shortly after 9:30am when 62-year old Myra Sutton was driving westbound on Pembroke Road when a pickup truck driven by 73-year old Freddie Martin of Hopkinsville pulled into her path off of Edwards Mill Road. Deputies say Martin stated he didn't see the other car because of the glare from the sun.
Deputies say the car's airbag deployed and Sutton complained of chest, abdominal and leg pain. She was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
Due to damages, authorities indicate both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
