2013 Freedom Friday Chili Cookoff Successful

The 2013 Freedom Friday Chili Cookoff is a wrap and several organizations are going home happy after winning cash prizes. Christian County Chamber of Commerce, Military Affairs Coordinator, Kensley McClellan says the day went well and teams were chosen by a great group of judges.

The Brigade Challenge was awarded to the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, who had eleven teams participate in the chilli cookoff. The 101st CAB was awarded one-thousand dollars to use at their discretion. Nearly 50 teams participated in the annual Christian County Salutes Fort Campbell Week event.
