A call about a man lying on the side of US 68-80 Sunday led to the arrest of an Elkton man for meth possession. Todd County Sheriff Tracy White says Sergeant Patrick Turner responded to the call at U.S. 68-80 and B. White Road where he found 41-year old Keith Gant trying to get up. They report Gant was under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine.
Gant was booked into the Todd County Detention Center charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), and Public Intoxication.
